The snap on cap fits firmly over the top of your bottle to keep the water inside and no splash when you're upending it to place on the water cooler. Once pierced, the delicate thin piece at the center of the cap irreversibly ruptures, thus preventing any opportunity for tampering or contamination.

        The internal structure of this 55mm snap on cap is designed with utmost precision. She will snap on most 55mm diameter 1 to 5 gallons bottle neck. Majority of bottled water companies use this cap as their standard cap. It includes 3 parts: cap-body, heat seal label, and PE foam liner. The purpose of adding the PE foam liner is to provide an additional layer of protection for its sealing. This is particularly important because water bottles from the plant vary in condition; some may be brand new while others may be old, with some bottle necks severely worn and others not adhering to the standard 55mm diameter – some even measuring 54mm. By incorporating this food-grade 2mm~3mm PE/EPE foam liner, the sealing integrity of each bottle can be significantly enhanced to over 99%.

Just simply snap on the cap and press in place, then peel the label off the top, last invert the bottle into place on the cooler and the prong will punctures the piece in the center of cap, allow water to flow through.
